Sometimes things that are broken exhibit surprising beauty. I don’t know how well the picture you’ll see below shows this, but it’s a window in my office that shattered after a small stone was thrown up by a lawnmower outside. When the sunlight catches it and reflects off the myriad pieces it looks really beautiful!
I think the spiritual parallels are obvious – it’s like a picture of each of our lives when we let God get involved. An ugly broken entity can become something to be enjoyed and uplifting.
